Went to Target to get my son a last minute Halloween costume. He's only 21 mths old so there weren't many great choices (Elmo and Cookie monster?!) and then I found this Captain America one and saw that it was only $10 (and it rang for $8!) Figured I would cut the arms and legs to make him fit since it was so cheap. Since he's a tall boy it fit pretty well with a little rolling up. I remembered reading somewhere about the Cartwheel app having a coupon for an extra 30% off kids costumes. That coupon took an extra $2.40 off making it a grand total of $5.60!! I was beyond happy paying that price, hubby bought our 4 yr old daughter's costume at Party City and paid about $36!

I've been wanting to try this product for quite some time and the L'oreal Advanced haircare has been on my list to buy for a while so I worked a deal (and went to a different store). This was done in 4 transactions because that's how it is at Walgreens..

Next stop was CVS, I found a nice little freebie/money maker. 2 months ago I did this deal and submitted my receipt to the Secret Clinical Strength Loyalty Reward Program and I received my coupon for a free deodorant last week. The Secret Clinical deodorant is producing $2 ECB in this weeks CVS ad. However my deal got even sweeter because when I scanned my card at the red machine I got $3 off a $10 deodorant purchase Q..which made the other deodorant free!

Total after coupons: $0.53 (my subtotal was -$0.01 so all tax) and got back $2 ECB

After Winn Dixie, I made a stop at CVS to get some milk. The magic red machine was nice to me and gave me $1 off any gallon of milk!

The new ad this week was so so. I still have a few more things to get but I'm waiting until next week to finish up. Meanwhile I decided to get some free soda. I have been holding these coupons for months. I kept missing the sale, Dr Pepper is a Pepsi product in my town because in other places they are a Coke product. Anyhow I've been keeping my eyes peeled for a Pepsi sale. The shelves were fully stocked because other couponers probably redeemed their Qs a while back.
