I must say this is a good week at CVS for me. Another great mini trip and rolled my ECB again!

Total after coupons: $1.67 ($0.83 subtotal, $0.84 tax) plus earned $5 ECB for buying Neutrogena and $3.49 ECB for buying Thermacare!

I had to make a run to Publix to get some milk and decided to put together a $30 transaction filled with freebies so the $3/$30 coupon would get applied to the milk and got a slight overage with the vitamins. Worked out perfect!

I read about this particular toothpaste giving $3 ECB so I ran out to get it. It costs $2.67 so it was a small money maker! Here's what I did:

Transaction #1:

2- Crest complete @ $2.67/ea = $5.34

Since the size is 2.7oz, no coupon applies, so I used $4 ECB earned from this deal to pay it down and then paid $1.67 (with tax) and got back $6 ECB.


Transaction #2:

1- M&Ms snack pack @ $1.27

The last time the Diet Pepsi deal came around was a few wks ago and I had all my coupons printed and ready to go..but the 3 CVS stores that I went to that night barely had enough stock for me to redeem all of my coupons. Now here is my 2nd chance, I decided to go today during early activation to get some of my coupons redeemed. I still have 2 Q's left to get 4 more sodas which I will get during the week. Also, if you're going to do this deal you'll have to break your transactions up. CVS has a limit of 5 sodas ringing up for the $.99 sale price and anything after that rings up at $2.09 (yikes!!!)

Today is Thursday which means 20% coupon from CVS! It finally arrived in my inbox around 5pm. I really wanted to do this Eucerin deal because it gives you $10 ECB back and the foot cream is the greatest thing ever! When I scanned my CVS card at the red machine, I got a coupon for $2 off a $5 feminine care/hygiene purchase which came in hand! My store was out of Poise last week but low and behold it was in stock today!! And I threw in a milk for the hell of it.

However, I paid $0 because I used my free $5 CVS e-gift card earned by using the Viggle app. Viggle is an app you use on your smart phone, ipod, ipad, etc and you earn points by checking into shows on TV.Yes I utilize every way possible to earn free money!


My 2nd transaction went like this:

1- 7up 12 pk + 2 Canada dry 12 pks @ 3/$10

I used the $10 ECB earned in transaction # 1.

Total after coupon: $0.60 plus earned $4 ECB for buying the soda!

I used the remaining balance on the CVS e-gift card and paid nothing! And still have $0.35 left! Thank you Viggle!

We decided to go back to Target to do the Ore-ida deal 1 more time and search for more hidden clearance goodies. Unfortunately, the toys found yesterday rung up at regular full price today? Yeah I don't get it either. However the clothing was still ringing at 90%. I totally forgot to look in the boys section and the men's section yesterday. They had an entire rack full of the boys shirts shown above.

As part of my daughter's reward for being a good big girl (no more whiny baby!), I decided to take her to her favorite store: Target and let her pick 1 toy. At first my thought was 1 toy from the dollar spot section lol but then I remembered that there is the Valentine's clearance going on and some hidden toys were found. Needless to say she was 1 lucky girl today. Here's some of the hidden unmarked clearance that I found:

My favorite find was the toddler bedding set, what a steal! It includes everything...pillowcase, comforter, flat and fitted sheets! I bought my daughter this same set but in a pink girly design and paid $13.98 on clearance 2 yrs ago and I thought that was a good price. All in all..fun time at Target today!

I hit the jackpot at the Publix near my house, I stopped shopping at this location due to too many issues at checkout. I guess other couponers were having trouble too and quit shopping here as well because it was fully stocked.

I read about this deal around 5pm Sat, it was a last minute CVS deal that would only work successfully if your CVS store didn't already turn on next weeks ad. I decided to go to a 24 hr CVS instead of my "home" store. I know that most 24 hr CVS stores turn on the new ad around 11pm-midnight so I was safe to do my deal. Basically the deal is you spend $20 in Pepsi products and you get back $5 extra care bucks (ECB). I was emailed a $5/30 purchase coupon on Thursday so I decided to utilize this coupon and spend $30 instead. Today a hot coupon was found at this site well hot coupons, one was for $4.50/4 12 pks and the other one was $1.80/2 2-liters and it was specifically on diet pepsi. I have never seen such a high value coupon like that before so I knew it was a good one. I don't drink diet pepsi but I will now!
