Target- Valentine's clearance
This was some of my hauls from this week. Target's Valentine's clearance went to 70% and 90% this week. I bought some things at 70% because there wasn't much stuff left. I hunted at 4 stores and all were pretty much picked over. Damn you people that buy stuff at 30% and 50%! Some items were hidden in random aisles or in the regular aisles instead of the Valentine's clearance area.

I went back to the Disney Store today because I had to exchange the Sofia ballerina shoes that I bought yesterday, one size was different from the other. When they rang up the new shoes to do the exchange, they owed me $1.27 because now they were giving an additional 25% off sale items! I ended up getting a price adjustment on my entire receipt since everything I bought yesterday were sale items. They rang it as a return and then re-rang everything and I added in these 2 items to get over the $50 mark to get my 10% Disney Visa discount again.

I went to the Michael Kors boutique store, they have a good sale going on as well. I don't think I will ever pay retail again unless it's a hot must-have bag or ever waste my time visiting their outlet store again. With shopping all the sales at their boutique store, Dillard's and Macy's, I am getting such great deals. Fyi the outlet store has bags made for outlets so it's not the same as the boutique/retail versions. It's rare to even find a boutique/retail bag at the outlet and if you find one I'm sure you could have gotten it cheaper elsewhere. I just learned that info last year. And Macy's & Dillard's frequently have coupons that CAN be used on Michael Kors to get an additional 20-25% off...I always thought they were excluded. And the Michael Kors store usually puts the old collections on sale and on top of the sale price they give an additional 25% off, that's how I scored this bag so cheap! All you have to do is be patient and wait for them to go on sale!

I'm backkkkkk! Happy 2015!
I haven't quit couponing, just took a break. I'm still not 100% back at it. There's only so much shampoo, toothpaste, laundry detergent, etc that you can buy over and over again before it gets boring and before you run out of space of where to put it. And as the food purchases with coupons, I just feel like the deals weren't as great as they were before. For example if I recall paying $0.09 for something and now the deal makes it $0.35..I just don't feel like it's a good deal. Most of the stuff I buy with coupons aren't things that I need or things I would usually buy, just stuff I'm trying out because coupons made it cheap so at $0.35 they can keep it!
Also this past Christmas season, I did 99% of my shopping online. I found so many good deals. In the future I might share my online hauls since I have increased my online shopping but I'm not sure yet. If my friends & family saw how much I really paid for their gifts they might feel some type of way lol. I actually paid $1.03 for someone's gift and trust when I say it wasn't no dollar store crap, name brand good stuff! I'm just a really smart shopper, I shop the sales, use coupons, and price match when I have to =)
