We made a trip out to Target today, we went shopkickin' around the store and had enough "kicks" to redeem for (3) $2 Target gift cards.

Finally decided to hit up Publix and do my weekly deal. I picked up a few things without coupons and I allowed my mom to pick up non-coupon items too *gasp* lol. We had a little over 50% savings, not the greatest haul but sometimes it's like that.

Next stop was CVS. My main objective was to buy the Maybelline concealer and I had a 20% CVS coupon to use. Here's how it went:

I read about this HOT deal for some free Brookside chocolate and spent today getting a few bags. Plus I've been dying to try this Revlon Nearly Naked foundation and worked that into my deal. I used my mom's CVS card since she didn't use her 20% email coupon as yet. The Brookside chocolate has a $2.50 CVS store coupon that can be stacked with the $1 manufacturer coupon, however, the CVS store coupon only allows 1 per transaction...so it had to be done in 5 different transactions. Here's my big transaction with the Revlon:

And then we did 4 more transactions with the Brookside chocolate and threw in little cheap items such as a $.66 kit kat to suck up the overage and then got back $5 ECB for buying the chocolate!

Got my Thursday 20% email and put it to good use today! I wanted to buy the John Frieda shampoo/conditioner but didn't want to pay full price and my deal worked out even better due to some overage.

Today is the last day of the weekly ad and thankfully my coupons for the sodas came in the mail yesterday. I only had 1 coupon to begin with so I went on ebay and bought 20 coupons for $1.50. I don't like buying coupons but my family goes through soda like crazy and this was a great deal.

We did this in 3 separate transactions and at 2 different Publix stores because I don't feel comfortable picking up this amount at once. And my mom threw in some other things that she wanted so 1 of our transactions made the $30 mark so I could use a $3/30 coupon. So here's that transaction:

Yeah I need more shampoo like I need a hole in my head lol..but hey it's new and the keratin line looks interesting, can't wait to wash my hair!

When I got my receipt from Transaction #1, I noticed that the Coke deal's limit wasn't reached so I decided to do it again and get some more.

I'm still alive and I'm still couponing..it's just that last week and this week is DEAD at Publix and CVS as well! So I'm sitting out this week at both stores, hopefully next week is better! Anyhow, I had $30 leftover on my Officemax MaxPerks reward card and decided to roll some of it.

Today we had a productive day! We went on a spree!

Ink was $19.99, used a 20% coupon = $17.80 (with tax) and paid for it with Officemax rewards..so FREE!

• Bath & Body works:

 Berry Flirt shower gel $11, used the BBW app on my ipod touch and redeemed the mystery coupon for a free signature collection item up to $12 = FREE!

• Payless 

Found my son 2 pairs of shoes on sale for $7/ea. While at checkout I decided to check retailmenot.com and found a 20% coupon to use = $11.86 (with tax)

• Target

Bought 2 Neutrogena shampoos for $4.49/ea, used $5/2 Neutrogena MQ + (2) $1/1 Neutrogena Target Qs = $1.98 and paid for it with a $2 Target gift card earned through the shopkick app..so FREE!

• CVS

Bought Schick hydro razor $10.49 and the shave gel $4.19, used $.75/1 hydro shave gel MQ and used a Try me free schick razor MQ mailed to my house and used $3.49 ECB earned in this deal = FREE plus earned $8 ECB for buying both items!

To sum it up..today was a good day!
