Publix & CVS trips
Finally decided to hit up Publix and do my weekly deal. I picked up a few things without coupons and I allowed my mom to pick up non-coupon items too *gasp* lol. We had a little over 50% savings, not the greatest haul but sometimes it's like that.
1- milk @ $3.75
2- Texas toast croutons @ $1.69 (BOGO)
2- Breyers ice cream @ $4.99 (BOGO)
4- Uncle ben's rice @ $2.09 (BOGO)
1- Kraft singles @ $2.50
1- Cracker barrell cheese @ $3
6- Planters nuts @ $4.89/ea set of 2 (BOGO)
2- Simply mashed potatoes @ $3.79 (BOGO)
2- Simply hash browns @ $2.59 (BOGO)
1- Honey ham @ $3.99
2- Banquet sausage @ $1.99 (BOGO)
1- Pork chops @ $5.79
2- Cuban bread @ $1.79/ea
4- Neutrogena soap @ $0.99/ea
Total before coupons: $60.47
Total after coupons: $28.21
Next stop was CVS. My main objective was to buy the Maybelline concealer and I had a 20% CVS coupon to use. Here's how it went:
1- Tena underwear @ $14.29
1- Tena pads @ $6.39 (on clearance from $12.99)
10- Hallmark cards @ $0.99/ea
1- Maybelline concealer @ $9.99
Coupons used:
Free Tena underwear MQ
Free Tena product MQ
(3) $2/3 Hallmark cards MQ
$2/1 Maybelline MQ
20% CVS Q took off $6
Used $5 beauty bucks from hitting the $50 mark in the beauty club
Total before coupons: $42.34
Total after coupons: $2.66 ($0.89 subtotal, $1.77 tax) and used another free $5 CVS e-gift card earned through the Viggle app to pay for it! Then I got back $3 ECB for buying the Hallmark and $3 ECB for buying the Maybelline.
